Abstract: In this study, we evaluated the feasibility of implementing a pediatric quality health measure using the PCORnet data network. We adapted and extended the measure to account for the structure of PCORnet data and its operational and pragmatic provenance. These adaptations lead to more complete data potentially of interest to stakeholders who implement quality metrics in their health systems.

Learning Objective 1: Learn about the process of adapting a quality health measure for implementation in a distributed clinical data network with a common data model (PCORnet).

Learning Objective 2 (Optional): Understand the extensions made to the quality metric and the impact it had in overall evaluation.
