Abstract: Currently, no minimum information model standard exists to guide persons who synthesize potential drug-drug information evidence on how to organize the information in a way that would be most effective for use in clinical settings. In this poster we present a new ontology called the Minimum Potential drug-drug interaction Information Ontology (MPIO) that is a key component of the new standard being developed by the task force.
Learning Objective 1: Knowing the lack of standardization regarding drug-drug interaction information and how MPIO fills that gap.
