Abstract: The current contribution aims to develop an intelligent big data analytics framework to analyze and visualize the content of scientific articles in identifying adverse vaccine reactions. The proposed framework is developed on big data analytics solutions composed of Apache Spark and Elasticsearch No-SQL distributed database, offering computational components with real-time update from new scientific articles published daily.

Learning Objective 1: After participating in this talk, the learner should be better able to:
- Utilize big data infrastructures, such as Elasticsearch DB and Apache Spark to identify adverse vaccine reactions form text data.
- Design computational components necessary to build big data analytics solutions.
- Understand and explain the role of scientific articles in adverse vaccine reactions discovery.
